ShopKeeper Pro brings the everyday paper credit ledger used by local shopkeepers into a fast, offline-first mobile app — built to work reliably with unstable connectivity and sync cleanly once back online.
The Problem & Challenge
Shopkeepers extend informal credit to regular customers every day, tracked by hand in paper ledgers that get lost, damaged, or disputed. Any digital replacement had to work perfectly offline, since connectivity in local markets is unreliable.
The Engineered Solution
We built an offline-first architecture on Hive for local storage with Supabase sync in the background, so the app is instant and reliable regardless of network conditions, then layered a Pro subscription tier on top for advanced record-keeping.
Operational Outcome
A production app used daily by shopkeepers to track customer credit, now expanding into AI-assisted receipt and document verification.
